130 Elektra, is a main belt asteroid. Discovered in 1873 by Christian Heinrich Friedrich Peters, it probably has a composition similar to that of Ceres. In 2003, the Keck II telescope identified a small moon of Elektra. The satellite, with a diameter of 4 km, orbits at a distance of about 1 170 km. In April 2016, a second satellite was discovered, about 2 kilometers in diameter.
The asteroid is dedicated to Electra, a figure from Greek mythology, daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra.
